1. The Club
THE NED and NED’S CLUB are proprietary private membership restaurants and clubs. Each Ned’s Club member contracts with the Ned’s Club company that looks after their local Ned’s Club (being the Club closest to the member’s designated address) (each, a “Proprietor”) The Proprietor reserves the right to charge members a joining fee, an annual subscription fee and an admission fee to THE NED and NED’S CLUB premises from time to time. The right to amend or waive any such fees or subscriptions shall be in the Proprietor’s sole discretion.
In these Club rules, we will refer to that company as ‘Ned’s Club’.
2. Ned’s Club and The Ned trademark rights
Members and their guests shall not use the names, logos, colours, trademarks, service marks, photographs, trade dress, or other identifying features of Ned’s Club or The Ned and its affiliates without obtaining the specific prior written approval of Ned’s Club as to the specific use.
You hereby expressly recognise that the Ned’s Club or The Ned Marks are the valid, unique and exclusive property of Ned’s Club, its parent, affiliates and/or subsidiaries (The Ned). Members and their guests may not produce, use or create, or authorise others to produce, use or create the Ned’s Club or The Ned Marks for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to, in any communications, marketing, advertising or other promotional materials (including, but not limited to, brochures, flyers, invitations and email messages) that utilise the Ned’s Club or The Ned Marks without Ned’s Club’s prior written consent.
MEMBERSHIP
1. Your membership application
By completing and submitting your application for membership through The Ned website, you agree to be bound by these Club rules. The Membership Committee meets quarterly and makes the final decision on who shall become a member of Ned’s Club.
You are free to withdraw your application at any time prior to it being accepted. Should you wish to do so, please contact our membership team at membership@thened.com. If your membership application is accepted, we will confirm this by sending you a 'Welcome to the Club' email. Your annual membership commitment will commence on the date your 'Welcome to the Club' email is sent.
2. Proposing new members
Members are welcome to propose new applicants to join a Club. Application forms are available at thened.com/membership.
3. Membership payment
Upon approval or renewal of your membership, your membership fees become payable immediately. By providing us with your payment details, you accept and consent to being
charged with membership fees in the form requested by NED’S CLUB upon your application being approved or renewed. It is within our discretion to amend our membership fees at any time, and we will notify you in advance if there are to be any changes to the amount, date or frequency of the payment of your membership fees.
Failure to pay the annual subscription (or any instalment thereof) within one month of the due date will result in the member not being admitted to the Club and we reserve the right to terminate the membership.
4. Membership renewal
Membership is an annual commitment or as otherwise agreed between Member and Club, and renewable thereafter on an annual basis.
Membership renewals are not automatic and are reviewed by our Renewal Committee on an annual basis. The Renewal Committee has the right not to renew memberships and their decision is final and without appeal.
5. Resignation/ cancellation of your membership
If you have selected monthly or annual payment and choose to resign your membership (or your membership is cancelled by Ned’s Club) prior to the end of your annual membership period, you will not be entitled to a pro rata refund of your annual membership fees unless otherwise determined by Ned's Club in its sole discretion. If you have selected monthly or annual payment and choose to resign your membership (or your membership is cancelled part way through the year), you will still need to pay your full membership fee for the remainder of the year.
6. Membership database
It is important for us to have your current details, plus a photograph of you in our membership database. By becoming a member of Ned’s Club, you agree that we can hold your personal details and a photograph to use in connection with your membership. If your contact or payment details change, please let us know by emailing membership@thened.com.
7. Membership cards
Your physical or digital membership card must be presented at reception to gain entry to any Ned’s Club. Members should also expect to be asked to present their membership card when they sit down to eat or drink, or if they open a bar tab. Where any member allows their card to be used by a non-member, such non-member shall be denied access to or removed from the Club, and the member whose card was used may face suspension or termination of their own membership. Please notify us immediately if your membership card is lost or stolen.
8. Rights and privileges of membership
A member shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of the Club granted to a person in their capacity as a member and shall be bound by these rules but shall have no proprietary rights in any of the premises or in respect of property of the Club.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES
1. Membership categories
Ned's Club membership categories vary by location and can be found on the online application form. Regular Membership is available at all locations, with some offering a reduced rate for those under 30. Upon joining Ned's Club, your membership category will be determined based on Ned's Club eligibility criteria, which will also determine the fees for the membership areas. Membership subscription is for a minimum of one year.
2. Under 30 membership (applicable for London, Doha & New York only)
Ned’s Club members whose applications are accepted on or before their 30th birthday will enjoy the benefits of a reduction on the membership fee and joining fee up until renewal following their 30th birthday (at which point the full membership fee will apply), alongside other special rates and events. If your application is not accepted on or before your 30th birthday, the full membership fee will apply.
USING THE CLUBS
1. Guests
Members are permitted to bring up to three guests with them to the Clubs at any one time, although please be aware that during very busy times we may have to restrict member/guest access to certain areas of the Club. A member’s guests may not enter the Club without that member being present. Members may not be separated from their guests within the Club or allow their guests to remain in the Club when they leave. Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests follow all Club rules and policies, even when the member is not in the company of their guests, and a member may face suspension or termination of their membership if their guests violate such rules or policies.
2. Children
Ned’s Clubs are for adults only and operate a strict over-18 policy, however some Clubs are child-friendly during restricted hours and in restricted spaces. Please be considerate of other members when you bring children, who count as part of your guest allowance, and ask each Club about its rules regarding children as they vary. Please remember that your children are always your responsibility when present in the Clubs, and ensure they are not left unattended at any time.
3. Animals
No animals are allowed in the Clubs, except for legally recognised service dogs and certified assistance dogs.
4. Bills

If a member has a Ned Pay account, they may leave without physically paying the bill and we reserve the right to take the full amount from that account on the same day or the day after. Members are also responsible for their guests’ bills. If a member’s bill or their guests’ bill is not paid, the member may face suspension of their membership.
5. Discounts
Any discount made available from time to time at the Club on accommodation, meetings and event space hire, spa treatments, personal training sessions or hair and beauty services are for the member’s personal use only, are non-transferrable and subject to availability. Any discount made available from time to time on food and beverage may be used only by the member and up to three accompanying guests unless otherwise stated. Please check your local Club for discounts as they may vary per Club.
6. Dress code
Whilst Ned’s Club does not dictate a strict dress code policy, to uphold the spirit of the Club, members and guests are required to be well always dressed. Sportswear and beachwear (including shorts) are not permitted after 5pm, and all backpacks and luggage must be checked into the cloakroom before entering after this time. Members are also responsible for ensuring that their guests abide by this rule. Dress codes at local Clubs may change during the summer months. Specific rules can be found under 'Club Etiquette' on the N.APP.

To maintain the relaxed atmosphere within the Clubs, members may only take or make phone calls and use laptops in designated areas at certain times. Members must ensure that their guests adhere to our phone and laptops policy.
9. Cameras and recording devices

No smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed inside the Club at any time. Ned’s Club reserves the right to prohibit or limit smoking in any external area of the Club premises at any time at its sole and absolute discretion.
Ned’s Club reserves the right to designate certain outside areas of the Club premises as smoking areas and to change the location of such areas at any time. However, all members and their guests are requested to respect the wishes of other members and their guests with respect to smoking, and to refrain from smoking when requested to do so.
13. Private hire and Club maintenance
Ned’s Club may at times, with or without notice, close all or part of a Club to members and their guests for private events or for necessary maintenance, repair or redecoration work. We will seek to ensure that any such area, facility or service is reinstated as soon as practicable. Ned’s Club reserves the right to compensate members for any closures through any method that they see fit.
Where we close part of a Club for private events, please refrain from communicating any information about the event to third parties via any medium.
14. Use of equipment and facilities
Use of any of the gym, fitness or wellness equipment, areas or facilities available at the Clubs is entirely at the risk of a member or hotel guest. Members are not permitted to bring guests to the gym or spa. Induction sessions explaining how to safely and properly use the gym or fitness equipment are available for new members. You must not use any equipment, or undertake any activity at a Club, unless you are satisfied that you are competent to do so in a safe and proper manner.
When using any equipment and facilities available at the Clubs, you must take care to safeguard your own health and safety, and that of other people. You will be solely responsible for any loss or injury that you cause to yourself, other persons, or to the equipment or facilities through your unsafe or improper use of the equipment or facilities. This includes your use of them while under the influence of alcohol or medication, or your failure to advise staff of a medical condition relevant to your use of the equipment or facilities.

All members and their guests are asked to respect any nearby residents by being quiet when entering or leaving the Club premises, or while in the surrounding area. Please also be respectful when driving to or from Club premises.
15. Constitution
The Club is constituted to encourage non-political, social and recreational activities.

1. Drugs, substances and items
No member or guest shall purchase, use, ingest, possess, sell or otherwise distribute illegal drugs or other substances, or attempt to do any of the same with any member or guest. No member or guest shall ask any Ned’s Club staff for illegal drugs or other substances while on Club premises, or in the immediate vicinity thereof. No member or guest shall occupy a closed bathroom stall with anyone else. If any of the actions above prove true, the relevant member and/or guest will be removed from the Club and the membership in question will be terminated.
No member or guest shall purchase, sell, use or possess any object that is illegal or offensive while on Club premises or in the immediate vicinity thereof. If any such objects are found, the item will be confiscated, the relevant member and/or guest will be removed from the Club, the membership in question will be terminated and, depending on the circumstances, we may have to call the police or relevant authorities.

In the interest of the safety of our members, guests, and employees, Ned’s Club restricts members and guests from bringing firearms (or weapons) to Ned’s Club properties – even in communities where it is permitted by law.
3. Disclosing member and guest identity
Each Club operates a strict non-disclosure policy of sharing details of any other member, guest, private hire or member event in the public domain. This includes press and all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and personal blogs. Members will be held accountable if they or their guests are found breaking this policy.
4. Disciplinary procedure
Conduct by a member or guest that is prejudicial to the reputation and character of Ned’s Club may result in suspension or expulsion of such member or guest. Such conduct may include inappropriate, violent or abusive behaviour, sexual harassment or impacting the psychological safety of another member or team, or the communication of information concerning the Club affairs, members or their guests in the Club to the media. An expelled member may not return to any Club as a guest. A refund of the expelled member’s subscription will be at the discretion of Ned’s Club. Any member or members who wilfully remove, damage or destroy any property belonging to the Club, or to members or guests on the premises of the Club, will be liable to expulsion and/or suspension or termination of their membership.
Every member binds themselves to abide by the rules, bylaws and regulations of Ned’s Clubs at all times upon acceptance as a member. If Ned’s Club considers that any member (or their guests) conduct either inside or outside of the Club premises is, at its absolute discretion, contrary to the interests of Ned’s Club, Ned’s Club may with immediate effect expel the member or guest from the Club premises, and/or suspend or terminate that member’s membership without having to give any reason to such member or guest.
5. Disciplinary Committee
Members who don’t follow the rules, values and standards of behaviour risk their membership being reviewed by our Disciplinary Committee. Based on the outcome of an internal investigation, this may result in your membership being suspended or terminated. Members are also responsible for ensuring that their guests follow these same rules, and if these are violated the same review and potential repercussions will apply to the member.
In the event of any dispute arising as to the meaning or interpretation of these rules, the matter shall be referred to the Renewal Committee who will decide on the status of a member's future use of the Clubs. This decision is final and without appeal. These rules shall be governed and construed in accordance with laws of your local Ned’s Club and each member agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the jurisdiction of your local Ned’s Club.
6. Amendments to the Club rules
